About Us
F.A.C.T., The Farnham Association of Complementary Therapists, was formed about ten years ago. Its purpose is to improve awareness of the applications and practice of Complementary Medicine in the community at large; as well as provide a support and networking organisation for Therapists themselves.
F.A.C.T. is a non-profit-making organisation. Membership is open to Therapists living and/or working in the Farnham area. An additional category of associate membership has been added for students and those with an interest in Complementary Medicine. Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings.
Meetings are held at Bishop's Table on the third Wednesday of the month. Normally these will consist of a brief amount of business, followed by a talk by one of the Therapists; then time is allowed for informal networking. Other activities are arranged, over the course of the year, to promote understanding of the various Complementary Therapies. Full details can be found here.
Members of F.A.C.T. must hold a valid Certificate of third-party liability insurance, as a condition of membership. However, membership does not necessarily mean that F.A.C.T. endorses the standards of each individual therapist, nor the organisation to which they belong.
You are invited to take a look around this website, to find details of the various therapies and the Members of The Association. If you would like to know more, feel free to attend our meetings and talk to any of the Members present.
